Dumpling marathon

In South Tyrol, many gastronomic events and speciality weeks take place in spring and summer, because then you can sit outdoors, shirt-sleeved, enjoying a glass of wine, the sunset and the alpenglow in the Dolomites. 

In contrast, Gsies in Pustertal offers a something completely different: In Winter, more precisely in January, the valley in the holiday region Kronplatz invites to the popular dumpling marathon. The event isn’t only about eating, because first you have to earn your meal – and that with cross-country skis.
