Three times during the summer months, the nice village Olang in the Pustertal valley invites to special culinary evenings: the traditional “Standlschmaus”.
The German name of this event is composed by two words: “Standl” means the stands and stalls, which are arranged on three summer evenings – 2 and 23 July and 27 August 2025 – around the village square in Mitterolang.
There you can attend the great “Schmaus” – that is to say, the feast. Every stall respectively every chef offers other culinary delights, including sweet South Tyrolean strauben as well as Mediterranean rice with seafood, typical hearty dishes as well as home-made strudel in all variations.
The open-air feast in Olang is accompanied by lively bands and traditional music.
