One day in summer and one day in autumn the pass roads around the famous Mt. Sella were closed for the motorized traffic. Then it’s time for the popular Sellaronda Bike Day and cycling fun for everyone!
On 7th June and 13th September 2025, all mountain passes in the Dolomites around Mt. Sella - Sellajoch, Grödnerjoch, Pordoi pass and Campolongo pass - are accessible only for ambitious cyclists and fit mountain bikers.
During the last years, this bike day in front of an exceptional scenery has always been a complete success. According to the organisers up to 20,000 bikers used the opportunity of the car-free dream-roads – as sporting challenge or as family excursion.
Route of the Sellaronda Bike Day:
- From Wolkenstein to the passes Gröden and Sellajoch between 8.30 am and 4.00 pm. Reopening of the street section from the Nives square to Plan from 10 am.
- From Corvara to the passes Grödner Joch respectively Campolongo between 8.30 am and 4.00 pm.
- From Arabba to the passes Pordoi and Campolongo between 8.30 am and 4.00 pm.
- From Canazei to the passes Sellajoch and Pordoi between 8.30 and 4.00 pm.
Tip: In winter, the famous Sellaronda is a day trip for skiers!
