Exciting ski touring races with a World Cup ranking in a high Alpine mountain landscape: the Marmotta Trophy in Martell Valley is a multi-day highlight for all fans of ski touring.
The first Marmotta Trophy in Martell took place in 2008, and this year it is part of the ISMF World Cup for the 7th time. The umbrella organisation ISMF (International Ski Mountaineering Federation) organises the international ski mountaineering and ski touring competitions.
Mrtell Valley is a side valley of Vinschgau and the perfect venue for high-calibre ski touring races: Nestled in the Stilfserjoch National Park, it offers impressive mountain panoramas around the Ortler-Cevedale group. From 18 to 22 March 2025, athletes and spectators can look forward to World Cup races in the Individual, Mixed Relay and Sprint categories.
