COLORS. A Homage to Peace

A Homage to Peace" in the picturesque courtyard of the Hofburg in Brixen will entertain you throughout the Christmastime, from 28th November 2024 to 6th January 2025, with magical lights and a peace choir. Children from all of Brixen's twin towns will sing live on the first weekend under the direction of conductor Stephen Lloyd.
The story
The protagonist of the story is a happy and colourful hummingbird, a symbol of light, hope and love, but also of peace and brotherhood. The audience is taken on a journey between dream and reality to discover the different seasons of human life and the different continents of the planet with a unique light and music show.
The theme of peace is presented in a light yet profound way. It aims to make the audience reflect on the beauty of difference and the different colours of people and nature - inexhaustible sources of beauty and richness. The light and music show lasts 20 minutes and will fascinate young and old alike.
Performances and times:
There are two performances each evening at 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., with an additional performance at 7:30 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays and public holidays (except 24th and 25th December). Dogs are not allowed!
