They start in the centre of the village and extend to the irrigation ditches. The cultivation of grapes and their processing is an essential part of people's lives here or for those who happen to be in Algund.
The rhythms, events and special occasions in Algund are often influenced by wine and its production in this area. Therefore, the first South Tyrolean wine tasting will be organized to celebrate this important product. The tasting will take place on Saturday 11 May 2024 from 11 am to 5 pm at Church Square in Algund.
Guests and visitors will be welcomed by no less than 20 different stands from South Tyrolean winegrowers and innovative wineries, where it will be possible to get insider tips and taste sparkling, white, rosé and red wines.
A unique experience for true wine connoisseurs and especially for South Tyrolean wine lovers.
