Witching hour at Taufers Castle

Museum visits and long-lasting guided tours are not very exciting for children most of the times. Historical dates and art epochs are not of interest for kids – tales about ghosts and other gruesome figures even more.

For this purpose, Sand in Taufers organizes a very special event, as the medieval Taufers Castle is the perfect setting for a spooky and funny adventure. At the beginning of the tour, the children will be transformed into little ghosts. Accompanied by experienced ghost hunters and equipped with lanterns, they go on an exciting tour through Taufers Castle.

The children will meet ghosts, gnomes and dwarves and hear wonderful legends and ghost stories. The fun and entertainment factor is very high in all cases, and the small ghosts will remain impressed by the spooky castle for a long time.

Registration for the witching hour

This very special guided tour at Taufers Castle is intended for kids from 6 to 12 years only. The series of events normally takes place in summer and in winter: In July and August it takes place as part of the “Farmhouse Gang” programme, with registration via the Tourist Office Sand in Taufers. 

During winter, they collaborate with the Speikboden Ski School, who organize the witching hour at Taufers Castle every Thursday afternoon from 4:30 to 5:30 pm.
